Brooklyn Borough Hall Hosts Prom Dress Giveaway For Deserving Teens 4/17

On Saturday, April 17, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz will join Megan Kerrigan of Marine Park at Brooklyn Borough Hall as hundreds of free couture prom dresses are distributed to deserving high school girls. Kerrigan has been handing out donated dresses since 2001, and this is the first time the event has been held in her home borough of Brooklyn. Kerrigan expects more than 1,700 girls from 35 Brooklyn schools and beyond to attend.

ABC announces its summer schedule, with the return 'The Bachelorette' on Monday, May 24 (9:00-11:00 p.m.); 'True Beauty' on Monday, May 31 (10:02-11:00 p.m.); a special two-hour blind date-themed episode of 'Wipeout' on Tuesday, June 1 (8:00-10:00 p.m.), before the premiere on Tuesday, June 22 (8:00-10:00 p.m.); 'Dating in the Dark' on Monday, August 9 (10:00-11:00 p.m.), and 'Shaq VS' on Tuesday, August 10 (9:00-10:00 p.m.).

The Broadway casts of RACE and SUPERIOR DONUTS have participated in an online auction to aid the Women In Need charity. The casts designed houses relating to their shows and have put them up for auction on the website www.charitybuzz.com. The proceeds from the auction will benefit the Women In Need group.
