California Shakespeare Theater Announces its 2010 Season

California Shakespeare Theater Artistic Director Jonathan Moscone today announced his plans for his 10th anniversary season, which includes the company's first world premiere in more than 25 years, a return to the provocative comedy of George Bernard Shaw, and brand-new productions featuring two of Shakespeare's most intriguing couples.

LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE Closes at Fox Theater Tonight, 12/5

LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE, a new musical based on the beloved Laura Ingalls Wilder series of classic American books, will launch a national tour and makes its debut at the Fox Theatre for seven performances, Tuesday, December 1 - Saturday, December 5!

On Wednesday, September 2nd, the cast and creative team of the upcoming national tour of LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE, THE MUSICAL, including Melissa Gilbert as Caroline 'Ma' Ingalls, Steve Blanchard as Charles 'Pa' Ingalls and Kara Lindsay as Laura Ingalls -- plus director Francesca Zambello, choreographer Michele Lynch and more held a sneak peek rehearsal performance of select scenes from the musical followed by a meet and greet with the cast.

'LITTLE HOUSE ON PRAIRIE' & Habitat For Humanity Continue Partnership With South Bronx Big Co-Op Building

The producers of the upcoming national tour of LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE: THE MUSICAL, with Melissa Gilbert as Ma, recently announced a national partnership with Habitat for Humanity, the non-profit international organization dedicated to providing affordable housing to the poor and needy. The announcement was made at a Habitat build-site in the South Bronx at which Melissa Gilbert and fellow cast members helped Habitat volunteers build the seven-story complex which will house 12 families.
