Broadway Impact has announced the second installment of 'Broadway Impact's Summer Concert Series at Joe's Pub.' This monthly concert features cast members from Broadway shows and highlights the theatre community's ongoing commitment to marriage equality. On July 25th at 9:30pm, cast members from Green Day's Tony-nominated Broadway hit, American Idiot, will rock Joe's Pub for equality!

The_Killers_20010101 Despite reports that GLEE could end up hitting the big screen from HollywoodLife, series creator Ryan Murphy claims that no movie is currently in the works. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, all series regulars have signed a contract requiring participation in up to three feature films for 20th Century Fox. The contracts, signed in 2008 before filming began on the pilot episode, state that '[the actor] hereby grants Fox three exclusive, irrevocable options to engage [the actor] in up to, respectively, three feature length motion pictures.'

'The Temperamentals' the critically acclaimed and award-winning play by Jon Marans ,Off Broadway at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street) will close on May 30th. Daryl Roth, Stacy Shane and Martian Entertainment are presenting the new American play. Thomas Jay Ryan (recently on Broadway 'In The Next Room') portrays Harry Hay. Michael Urie (from TV's 'Ugly Betty') is Rudi Gernreich. Arnie Burton (an original cast member of Broadway's '39 Steps') joined the cast in multiple roles. Rounding out the cast of five multiple talented actors are Matthew Schneck, and Sam Breslin Wright. It is directed by Jonathan Silverstein. The Set & Costume design is by Clint Ramos, lighting by Josh Bradford and Daniel Kluger is the sound designer.

It has arrived, to the joy of Gleeks and Monsters alike - the long-awaited Lady Gaga week on GLEE. ‘Theatricality' opens with Tina and Mr. Schuester in the principal's office; Tina is told she must change her goth look in order to keep the school safe (and to allay Principal Figgin's fear of vampires). This, paired with the news that Vocal Adrenaline is attempting to tackle Lady Gaga in their repertoire, leads Will to give his own Gaga assignment about theatricality in performance.

The Town Hall's critically acclaimed Broadway by the Year's®10th Anniversary Season presented The Broadway Musicals of 1966, a year that brought us iconic shows such as, Cabaret, Mame, I Do! I Do!, Sweet Charity and The Apple Tree, last night, May 10. Overflowing with famous songs from major hit shows, the evening featured more dance numbers than any other Town Hall Broadway by the Year® concert this season. The evening was directed, choreographed and starred Jeffry Denman (who will be going to Broadway next season with this year's Off-Broadway hit musical, Yank!, which he also choreographed).
