Caroline Aaron Stars in LA Debut of BE A GOOD LITTLE WIDOW at NoHo Arts Center, Now thru 5/25

49TH Parallel in association the multi-award-winning NoHo Arts Center Ensemble (NoHo ACE), are thrilled to present the Los Angeles premiere of a new play, BE A GOOD LITTLE WIDOW, written by Bekah Brunstetter (OOHRAH!) and directed by Sara Botsford. BE A GOOD LITTLE WIDOW will preview tonight, April 17 at 8pm and will open on Friday, April 18 at 8pm and run for six weeks through Sunday, May 25, 2014 at the NoHo Arts Center, 11136 Magnolia Blvd. (at Lankershim) in North Hollywood.

Nickelodeon Launches Preschool Literacy Mobile App

In its first week live, Nickelodeon's brand-new literacy app, Wallykazam!: Letter and Word Magic, skyrocketed to the number-one spot on the educational and kids app lists and the number-two spot on the paid app list on the iTunes App store in the U.S. Inspired by Wallykazam!, the network's latest preschool literacy TV series, the app aims to help kids develop phonemic awareness, letter knowledge and letter-sound associations, and promote excitement about words and learning to read. As one of the first kid-focused media companies to launch content on the iPad, Nickelodeon continues to provide compelling content to the platform. The network's apps are designed so kids can interact with their favorite characters in new and different ways, on all the platforms they have available to them.

Author Lincoln Peirce And HarperCollins Break Guinness World Records' Title For World's Longest Cartoon Strip By A Team with BIG NATE: IN THE ZONE

Lincoln Peirce and HarperCollins Children's Books have officially broken the Guinness World Records title for the world's longest cartoon strip by a team. The record was broken live on TODAY show in New York City, and was the culmination of a week-long record breaking series. The record breaking comic spans 3,983 feet, 2 inches or longer than 11 football fields.

Nickelodeon Launches New Earth Day Campaign

Nickelodeon is encouraging kids to get their hands dirty this Earth Day (April 22) with the kick-off of its 'Get Dirty!' Earth Day initiative. The 'Get Dirty' campaign lives on-air and online and features eco-themed TV spots highlighting Nickelodeon stars and real kids who offer fun ways to improve the environment, as well as a dedicated webpage that provides kids and families with tips and information on how they can take action to help protect the planet. Additionally, Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. will be celebrating Earth Day with an eco-friendly slate of programming.

Nickelodeon & CSU Fullerton to Host Art Exhibit Inspired by SANJAY AND CRAIG

Nickelodeon and California State University, Fullerton's Atrium Gallery presents 'Butt What Is Art? A Sanjay and Craig Fine Art Retrospective,' a rich comprehensive collection of production art that offers a behind-the-scenes look at the world of television animation. Curated by renowned art historians Sanjay and Craig, the exhibit is the first to focus exclusively on art created for, and inspired by, Nickelodeon's hit animated series Sanjay and Craig. Opening VIP Reception is Saturday, April 12, from 1:30pm-2:30pm. The dates for this exhibition are April 14 through June 20.

Brenda Freeman Joins DreamWorks Animation as Head of Television Marketing
