Tarragon Theatre presents the world premiere of A God in Need of Help by playwright-in-residence Sean Dixon, directed by the theatre's artistic director, Richard Rose. This vividly painted sojourn into 17th century Europe examines the role of faith at the dawn of the Age of Reason and opens Wednesday, April 23, running to May 25 (with previews from April 16) in Tarragon's Mainspace. Rob Thomas' feature film VERONICA MARS broke records with its Kickstarter campaign last year and will now hit theaters and VOD/digital today. This big-screen adaptation of the much beloved, but low-rated, cult TV show features returning stars Kristen Bell, Jason Dohring, Chris Lowell, Ryan Hansen, Krysten Ritter, Percy Daggs III, Tina Majorino, Francis Capra Ken Marino and Enrico Colantoni.

Rather than leaving an empty space at his venue, North Adelaide's newest hub, Live At Nine, Kevin Crease Studios, he is sending in his stead his very good friend - and Adelaide veteran, Bob Paisley in John Clancy's multi-award winning THE EVENT, last seen at the Fringe with David Calvitto in 2010 and winner of the Fringe Award for Best Performance.

The Baroque pastiche The Enchanted Island, a hit when it premiered at the Met in 2011, returns for its first revival on February 26. New cast members Susan Graham (Sycorax) and Andriana Chuchman (Miranda) join many of the principal singers who appeared in the work's world premiere: David Daniels as Prospero, Plácido Domingo as Neptune, Danielle de Niese as Ariel, Anthony Roth Costanzo as Ferdinand, and Luca Pisaroni as Caliban. The four mismatched Athenian lovers will be sung by Elizabeth DeShong, who sang Hermia in the world premiere, joined by new cast members Janai Brugger (Helena), Andrew Stenson (Demetrius), and Nicholas Pallesen (Lysander) completing the quartet of Athenian lovers.
