Centenary Stage Company Announces 2014-2015 Theatre Season in the Lackland Center

Classics and family favorites are mixed in with musical memoirs and two world premieres during the 2014-2015 theatre season at The Centenary Stage Company (CSC). This year will feature eight diverse theatre events with a touch of fantasy, magic, and drama in the Lackland Center providing something for everybody.

HCTO to Present PETER PAN, 4/24-6/14

Fly away with Peter, Wendy, Tinkerbell, and Captain Hook as J.M. Barrie's magical, musical fairytale of the 'Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up' is cleverly re-imagined for the HCTO stage! A favorite for children of all ages. Come back to Neverland, and remember what it's like to pretend!

Cincinnati Music Theatre Presents PETER PAN, Now thru 5/17

Cincinnati Music Theatre (CMT) invites you to join them "where dreams are born" as they proudly present Joshua Steele as PETER PAN in the high-flying musical version of the play by Sir James M. Barrie, today, May 9-17, 2014 at the Aronoff Center's intimate Jarson-Kaplan Theater (see full performance schedule below).

'GRINCH,' BUSYTOWN, HUCK FINN & More Set for Children's Theatre Company's 2014-15 Season

2014-2015 at Children's Theatre Company is a season of dreams fulfilled. There are stories of transformational beauty, three fabulous musicals and an interactive, on-your-feet adventure through the undiscovered depths of the theatre. CTC will also present renowned artists and some of the most tender and poetic characters to ever tread our stages. Artistic Director Peter C. Brosius describes his excitement about each show, and the thrill of merging theatrical splendor with the body, blood and soul of some of the Twin Cities' best artists. Brosius says, "This is a season of surprising worlds and actors who will touch your heart and create characters you will never forget. It is a journey into lands you've never been to and lives you will never forget."

BWW Reviews: PETER PAN at Georgetown Palace Is A Magical Delight

Anyone who's seen a production of Peter Pan, or at least one of the televised versions starring Mary Martin or Cathy Rigby, knows that there's a moment late in the evening in which Peter turns to the audience and begs everyone to clap their hands if they believe in fairies. It's a moment that easily measures the success of the production. If the show isn't connecting with the audience, Peter's pleas are met with a smattering of golf claps. But at the Georgetown Palace, that iconic moment is met with deafening applause and cheers.
