Black Ensemble Theater announces the World Premiere of One Name Only (A Different Kind of Reality Show), written and directed by Black Ensemble Associate Director Rueben Echoles. One Name Only will be presented at the new Black Ensemble Theater Cultural Center, 4450 N. Clark Street in Chicago, September 28 - November 11. The official press opening is scheduled for Sunday, October 7, 2012 at 3:00PM.

The fair became a biennial event in Dusseldorf in 2002 and has since attracted a growing number of contemporary dance professionals, with the last event in 2010 being the largest ever: More than 1000 trade attendees from 42 countries came to Dusseldorf to meet with 246 dance-related organizations at 102 booths on the show floor and watch performances from 60 dance companies from 23 countries on stages in Dusseldorf and beyond over 4 days. This year's show dates are today, August 29 - September 1, 2012. 243 exhibitors from 34 countries are registered at this time with a 30 percent increase in the number of booths compared to 2010.

The Clucked Up Comedy series brings "Saturday Night Sizzle - The Hot 'Chicks' of Comedy" to Detroit's intimate City Theatre on Saturday, September 15 starring comedian/actress Vanessa Fraction (Mike Epp Presents-Live from the Nokia/Barber shop 2), Ashima Franklin ( Martin Lawrence 1st Amendment stand up/Monique Show), comedian/actress Tiffany Haddish (Showtime special Snoop Dogg's "Bad Girls Of Comedy/ It's always sunny in Philadelphia ) and introducing comedian/actress Jamila Hamlett aka "JAM" (stage plays/Cheaters).
