The Muny announced today its complete cast for Stephen Sondheim (music and lyrics) and James Lapine's (book) Into The Woods, playing July 21-27. The production will be directed by Gary Griffin, choreographed by Chris Bailey and music directed by Brad Haak.

The Muny announced today several principal cast members for the seven shows in its spectacular 97th season, which opens on June 15 with My Fair Lady. Full casts and companies will be announced throughout May.

Tony and Grammy Award winner Heather Headley will star as 'The Witch' in Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Into The Woods, directed by Gary Griffin and playing July 21 - 27, 2015 at The Muny, the nation's largest outdoor musical theatre. This production marks the Muny premiere of Into the Woods, and will be Ms. Headley's first performance in a musical in America since her 2000 Tony award winning performance in the original Broadway production of Elton John and Tim Rice's Aida.

The Muny announced today its 2015 production of Oklahoma! will feature the Laurence Olivier Award-winning and Tony Award® nominated choreography of Susan Stroman. Moonshine: That Hee Haw Musical, a new musical comedy lovingly (and loosely) inspired by the classic TV series, will get the Broadway treatment when it has its eagerly awaited World Premiere this fall at Dallas Theater Center. The musical, which had a much-buzzed-about industry reading in September, features a score by multi-Award winning artists Brandy Clark (a 2015 Grammy Award nominee for Best New Artist) and Grammy Award-winner Shane McAnally, two of country music's hottest new singer/songwriters.
