The Tony Awards telecast took home four Emmys including Outstanding Special Class Program, Outstanding Musical Direction and Outstanding Musics and Lyrics for 'If I Had Time' with lyrics by Adam Schlesinger and music by David Javerbaum.

Marc Blitzstein's The Cradle Will Rock, the inaugural show of New York City Center's new Encores! Off-Center series will play for five performances through July 13 at City Center. Jim Mickle's suspenseful horror thriller WE ARE WHAT WE ARE comes full circle. Acquired by eOne for U.S. theatrical rights off of the film's critically acclaimed world premiere at this year's Sundance Film Festival, WE ARE WHAT WE ARE finds a home at the Cannes Film Festival's Directors' Fortnight.

In WE ARE WHAT WE ARE, a re-imagining of the 2010 Mexican film of the same name, Jim Mickle paints a gripping and gruesome portrait of an introverted family struggling to keep their macabre traditions alive. Check out the first official clip from the film below!

Wayside Theatre's Artistic Director Warner Crocker has announced the cast and schedule for the first production of Wayside Theatre's 52nd Season, Church Basement Ladies. This musical is inspired by the books of Janet Letnes Martin and Suzann Nelson, including the best seller Growing Up Lutheran, and is written by Jim Stowell and Jessica Zuehlke, with Music and Lyrics by Drew Jansen.

The world premiere production of the new musical TUCK EVERLASTING, scheduled to play Boston's Citi Performing Arts Center Emerson Colonial Theatre (106 Boylston Street) from July 28-August 18, 2013, has been postponed due to a lack of theatre availability for its planned subsequent production in New York. Future plans for the production will be announced at a later date.
