Poway OnStage is elated to participate as a featured stop in the Upright & Grand Piano Festival presented by The San Diego Symphony on January 15th, 2016 at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts (15498 Espola Rd Poway, California). The evening will include a presentation of Liszt's Black Gondola, Shostakovich's Symphony No. 1, and Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5: Emperor, led by conductor Cristian Macelaru. The performance will feature renowned and award-winning pianist Jeremy Denk.

Since their formation in 1968, Tower of Power have been recording and touring, playing hundreds of shows annually and releasing 18 studio albums, seven live albums, six compilations and three DVDs. Returning to Dayton tonight, December 16, 2015 at the Victoria Theatre, Jim Brickman brings together the sounds of the season. Live for one night only, Brickman's holiday tour, COMFORT & JOY, features Anne Cochran, Tracy Silverman and the Stivers School for the Arts Chamber Choir and the KCC Concert Choir.

Popular vocalist Michael Bolton returns to Mayo Performing Arts Center for a holiday concert on Monday, November 30, 2015 at 8 pm. Michael Bolton: Greatest Hits and Holiday Favorites will feature a selection of some of Bolton's best known hits ('How Am I Supposed to Live Without You,' 'When a Man Loves a Woman') as well as seasonal songs. Mitch Albom will host an evening of entertainment and storytelling to benefit S.A.Y Detroit and the launch of his newest novel “The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto” at the Fox Theatre on Sunday, November 8 at 7 p.m. The event will be a mix of performances and conversations between Albom and a wildly impressive line-up of music-related guests including Earl Klugh, Ted Nugent, Michael Bolton, JK Simmons (Oscar winner for 'Whiplash) jazz guitar star John Pizzarelli, Phredley Brown (musical director for Bruno Mars), Roger McGuinn (founding member of the Byrds) and local musicians Olivia Millerschin and Vito Lafata, as well as others.
