The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati (TCT) celebrates the holidays with a title known the world over, ELF THE MUSICAL JR. (December 10 -18, 2016).

The Kennedy/Marshall Company is joining a team of celebrated filmmakers to produce BOSTON, the first-ever documentary film about the legendary Boston Marathon.

A pre-Thanksgiving Holiday Treat is in store for the whole family when Randy James' all male dance company, 10 Hairy Legs, and invited female guest artists will dance James' The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe at The Theatre at Raritan Valley Community College on Sunday, November 20 at 3:00 pm for public audiences and again onMonday, November 21 at 10:00 am for school groups. 10 Hairy Legs, the all-male repertory dance company, returns to New York Live Arts for its fourth consecutive New York Season for four performances June 23-26.  Continuing to showcase the company's extensive repertory that celebrates and explores the artistry of the male dancer, this season features 3 World Premiere works and the return of David Parker's “Slapstuck.”

DANCENOWNYC continues its 20th anniversary celebration with the 2015 DANCENOW Joe's Pub Festival. Acclaimed for its adventurous short-takes format, the annual DANCENOW Festival presents a wide variety of work from some of today's most exciting choreographers. Continuing its focus on New York-based artists across generations, the 2015 Festival will feature short works by 50 emerging and established dance makers, all of whom DANCENOW has presented over the last twenty years.

Acclaimed for its adventurous short-takes format, the annual DANCENOW Festival presents a wide variety of work from some of today's most exciting choreographers. Continuing its focus on New York-based artists across generations, the 2015 Festival will feature short works by 50 emerging and established dance makers, all of whom DANCENOW has presented over the last twenty years. The Festival will take place at Joe's Pub, Wednesday-Saturday, September 9-12, at 7pm, with an encore performance featuring a dozen producer picks on Thursday, September 24, at 7pm.

The Bessies, formally known as the New York Dance and Performance Awards, celebrated its 30th anniversary at the Apollo Theater on Monday, October 20th. It was an exciting evening that commemorated the diverse world of dance and those who tirelessly contribute to a field that makes this city come alive.

The New York Dance and Performance Awards (The Bessies), NYC's premier dance awards honoring outstanding creative work in the field, announced tonight the complete list of 2013-14 season award recipients. The Bessies, produced in partnership with Dance/NYC, were held at the legendary Apollo Theater at 7:30 p.m., following red carpet interviews and photographs with the nominees in attendance. NYC First Lady Chirlane McCray gave opening remarks, and Lisa Kron, whose hit musical Fun Home will make its Broadway debut this year, hosted the evening.

NEW YORK, September 30, 2014 - The New York Dance and Performance Awards (The Bessies), NYC's premier dance awards honoring outstanding creative work in the field, announced today the host of the anniversary ceremony that is to be held at the legendary Apollo Theater. Broadway playwright, actress and 1993 Bessie awardee Lisa Kron will host the 30th Annual Bessie Awards. Based on J.M. Barrie's tale of the same name, this is the all time favorite musical of Peter - the boy who spent his life in Neverland battling pirates! When he brings the Darling children to Neverland, he finally defeats his foe, Captain Hook, and befriends the Indian princess.
