Jessica Alba, Megan Fox, and Ed Helms joined the Hollywood Foreign Press Association President Dr. Aida Takla-O'Reilly were on hand at the Beverly Hilton Hotel this morning to announce the nominations for the 2013 Golden Globes Awards.

EWonline reports that Brenda Song will have a recurring role on the FOX comedy NEW GIRL. The actress is set to portray 'Daisy', described as 'an intense and hugely competitive young woman who dislikes "quitters" and becomes interested in Winston (Lamorne Morris) after seeing him strike out with Holly.'

Brenda Song, (THE SUITE LIFE OF ZACK AND CODY, THE SOCIAL NETWORK), has been tapped by Fox for a recurring role on NEW GIRL. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed Song's deal earlier this evening.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Brooklyn Decker will be paying a visit to the FOX hit comedy series NEW GIRL later this season.

Voting is now underway for the first Fall 2012 BWW TV Awards and continues through December 31, 2012. Winners will be announced in early January.

It's a Spooktacular Tuesday when stars from FOX's Tuesday night comedies tweet during the special Halloween-themed episodes on Tuesday, Oct. 30 from 8:00-10:00 PM ET/5:00-7:00 PM PT. Join the conversation throughout the night with RAISING HOPE's Martha Plimpton; BEN AND KATE's Maggie Elizabeth Jones and Dakota Johnson; NEW GIRL's Lamorne Morris and Hannah Simone; and THE MINDY PROJECT's Mindy Kaling and Ike Barinholtz.

Fox has officially extended the second season of NEW GIRL for an extra two weeks, picking up two additional episodes to the original order of 22. NEW GIRL will run for 24 episodes this season, consistent with its output from last year.

On Tuesday, Oct. 23, the New FOX Tuesday comedies keep the laughs coming with all-new episodes of RAISING HOPE (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT), BEN AND KATE (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) and NEW GIRL (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT). An all-new special one-hour episode of THE X FACTOR featuring the conclusion of the 'Judges' Homes' round airs during a special, extended prime from 9:30-10:30 PM ET/PT.
