Broadway legend Bernadette Peters joins the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra (NJSO) for "An Evening with Bernadette Peters," the final program in the NJSO's 2011-12 POPS series, on Saturday, June 2, at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) in Newark.

On Saturday evening March 3, consummate Broadway actress/singer Bernadette Peters performed an SRO concert at Valley Performing Arts Center on the campus of Cal State Northridge. Originally set for October 15, An Evening with Bernadette Peters was rescheduled to March 3 because of Peters' costarring role as Sally in the latest Follies revival on Broadway.

BroadwayWorld.com first reported back on August 20th that Ruthless! - The Musical may possibly be headed back to the stage in a new production, if a reading scheduled for September goes well as directed by Jason Moore and produced by Darren Bagert. A casting call had been issued for the lead role of the 'bad seed' child-showbiz terror - Tina. We've now learned that set for the reading are Betty Buckley as Sylvia St. Croix/Ruth DelMarco, Tovah Feldshuh as Lita Encore and Leslie Kritzer as Judy Denmark/Ginger Del Marco.
