The Public Theater will continue its series of free staged readings of new plays by the Emerging Writers Group throughout the month of April. The Emerging Writers Group Spotlight Series presents weekly readings of a full-length play by each writer, directed and performed by experienced artists from the theatrical community. The show will begin previews April 27 and run through May 30, 2010. Opening night is set for May 12, 2010. Passion Play will be performed in the site-specific environs of the Irondale Center, a converted Sunday School inside the Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church (85 South Oxford Street) in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.
