Fox has signed Broadway veteran and JUSTIFIED actress Margo Martindale for guest role on its hit series NEW GIRL, Entertainment Weekly reports.

THE NANNY's Nicholle Tom Joins Showtime's MASTERS OF SEX in Recurring Role

Nicholle Tom has joined the cast of Masters of Sex in a recurring role, the series, an adaptation of Thomas Maier's book, stars Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan as real-life pioneers of the science of human sexuality, William Masters and Virginia Johnson, and chronicles their unusual lives, romance and pop culture trajectory. Tom will play Maureen, the more established figure at the brothel. She is not happy to be asked to volunteer to be part Dr. Masters (Michael Sheen) medical demonstrations. Maureen is comfortable with her sexuality. She is not afraid to speak her mind.

Heléne Yorke to Play Recurring Role on Showtime's MASTERS OF SEX

New York based actress Helene Yorke is set for the new Showtime drama series, Masters of Sex. Yorke (30 Rock, A Gifted Man), who was featured in the pilot episode, will now recur throughout the first season. An adaptation of Thomas Maier's book, Masters stars Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan as William Masters and Virginia Johnson, real-life human sexuality research scientists. Also a notable theater actress, Yorke will continue her role as Jane, one of the pair's primary subjects in their experiments.

Works has announced that celebrated actress Jan Maxwell has joined the cast of a celebrity staged reading in celebration of The 25th Anniversary of Robert Harling's Steel Magnolias to take place next week on Monday, 3 December 2012 at 7pm to benefit The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

Producer David Youse and Four Things Productions in association with L.A. Works has just announced a celebrity staged reading in celebration of The 25th Anniversary of Robert Harling's Steel Magnolias to take place on Monday, 3 December 2012 at 7pm to benefit The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). This special one night only event will take place at the Lucille Lortel Theater located at 121 Christopher Street in New York City, where the original production performed. Directed by Judith Ivey and starring Blythe Danner, Annie Potts as M'Lynn, the original Truvy, Margo Martindale as Ouiser, Celia Keenan-Bolger as Shelby and Sarah Stiles as Annelle. Additional cast announced soon! Music for this production has been generously donated by Bonnie Raitt and Pat Boone. With support from the 25th Anniversary Honorary Committee including Olympia Dukakis, Sally Field, Daryl Hannah, Shirley MacLaine, Dolly Parton and Julia Roberts and sponsored by Lifetime Television, Magnolia Bakery and Veranda Restaurant. In partnership with playwright Robert Harling, FOUR THINGS PRODUCTIONS is honored to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of this remarkable story written for Harling's sister whom he lost through complications of diabetes. This very special performance will be directed by two-time Tony Award winner Judith Ivey and will feature multiple Emmy nominee and Golden Globe-winning actress Frances Conroy, Golden Globe and Emmy-nominee Elizabeth Perkins, Jennifer Coolidge and Golden Globe and Emmy nominee Annie Potts, along with additional cast members to be announced shortly. Conroy is replacing the previously-announced Kathy Bates in the role of Ouiser due to a scheduling conflict.

As first reported on Deadline.com, Dermot Mulroney has joined the cast of the big screen adaptation of Tracy Letts' AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY as 'Steve.' The actor joins previously announced cast members Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Abigail Breslin, Juliette Lewis, Margo Martindale and Chris Cooper.
