Two years ago, The New Ohio Theatre and IRT Theater (new neighbors in the historic Archive Building on Christopher Street) kicked-off their exciting new developing and presenting initiative: the Archive Residency. The Archive Residency offers select independent theatre companies a two-year commitment of space, artistic support, and institutional continuity for the development and presentation of a new work. Ice Factory 2013 takes place at the New Ohio Theatre, located at 154 Christopher Street between Greenwich and Washington Streets in New York City. Ice Factory 2013 will celebrate its 20th Anniversary with six new works over six weeks, running from today, June 26 - August 3, 2013.

DRACULA Opens 9/14 at Bingham Theatre

Artistic Director Les Waters and Managing Director Jennifer Bielstein will present Fifth Third Bank's Dracula, playing in the Bingham Theatre at Actors Theatre of Louisville,September 14-October 31, 2012.

New Ohio Theatre Extends SAMUEL & ALASDAIR for Two More Weeks

The New Ohio Theatre announced today that the Manhattan Premiere of The Mad Ones' critically acclaimed Samuel & Alasdair: A Personal History of the Robot War is extending for two additional weeks. Samuel & Alasdair: A Personal History of the Robot War is conceived by Marc Bovino, Joe Curnutte, Lila Neugebauer and created with the ensemble, written by Marc Bovino and Joe Curnutte, and directed by Lila Neugebauer. The extension runs from February 9 - 18, 2012 at the New Ohio Theatre, located at 154 Christopher Street, between Greenwich and Washington Streets in New York City.

2011 NY Innovative Theatre Awards Honor Robert Patrick et al.' Winners Announced!

On Monday September 19, 2011, the IT Awards (New York Innovative Theatre Awards), the organization dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, and host comedian Harrison Greenbaum, announced the 2011 recipients at the Seventh Annual IT Awards Ceremony at Cooper Union. This year's nominees represent 169 individual artists, 55 productions and 45 theatre companies. In 2011, the IT Awards had the most individual nominees than in any previous season with 169 nominees.

Burning Coal’s ‘Mockingbird’ Flies Again, Close 3/20

Burning Coal Theatre Company of Raleigh, NC will re-open its production of To Kill A Mockingbird, a stage adaptation of Harper Lee's classic novel by Christopher Sergel. The production runs March 10 - 20, 2011. Performances are March 10 - 12 and 17 - 19, 2011 at 7:30 pm and March 13 and 20th at 2 p.m.
