Karen Ziemba Replaces Nancy Opel in PRINCE OF BROADWAY

Just announced, Tony Award winner Karen Ziemba will join Manhattan Theatre Club's upcoming Broadway premiere of Prince of Broadway, a musical celebration that highlights the extraordinary six-decade career of director and producer Harold Prince.

Casting Announced for Inaugural Season of FSU/Asolo Conservatory's Dog Days Theatre

 FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training proudly announces casting for the inaugural season of Dog Days Theatre, a new theater project offering smart, contemporary works just light enough for the dog days of summer. Each summer, Dog Days Theatre will feature two plays mounted in the Cook Theatre, located in the FSU Center for the Performing Arts, using professional actors, directors and designers from the community and around the country along with the talents of the Conservatory's graduate students.

Keegan Theatre Presents the D.C. Premiere of WHEN WE WERE YOUNG AND UNAFRAID

The Keegan Theatre presents the Washington DC premiere of Sarah Treem's When We Were Young and Unafraid, opening on June 17, 2017. Directed by Marie Sproul, When We Were Young and Unafraid stars Keegan founding company member Sheri S. Herren as Agnes, the role originated by Cherry Jones on Broadway. Herren is joined by Kaylynn Creighton, Jenna Berk, Nora Achrati, and Theo Hadjimichael. The press opening is on Tuesday, June 20, at 8:00 pm.

Cape Playhouse Kicks Off Season Next Week with ART!

The historic Cape Playhouse's 91st season kicks off with Yasmine Reza's Art, the critically acclaimed comedy, in its Playhouse premiere.  Starring David Beach, Eddie Korbich and Andrew Macdonald, and directed by Matt Lenz, Art plays June 13 through 24.

COST OF LIVING Opens Tomorrow at Manhattan Theatre Club

A friendly reminder! Manhattan Theatre Club's New York premiere of Cost of Living, the new play by Martyna Majok (Ironbound, Mouse in a Jar), directed by Jo Bonney (Father Comes Home from the Wars; By the Way, Meet Vera Stark), opens tomorrow night, Wednesday, June 7, at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street). Previews for the limited engagement began Tuesday, May 16.

The Shubert Foundation's 2017 Grants Program has awarded a record total of $26.8 million to 533 not-for-profit performing arts organizations across the United States. The 2017 grants mark the 37th consecutive year that the Foundation has increased its giving.
