Westport Country Playhouse Adds 5/19 Performance of THE DINING ROOM

Westport Country Playhouse announces that due to ticket demand for its current production of A. R. Gurney's 'The Dining Room,' an extra performance has been added on Sunday, May 19, at 3 p.m. The witty and heartfelt story of the American family and its vanishing traditions is directed by Mark Lamos, Playhouse artistic director.

HOGWARTS AFTER HARRY, FOLKTALES and Other Classes Set for Long Wharf Theatre, Summer 2013

Wizards, Vikings, dragons and superheroes will be taking over Long Wharf Theatre this summer. Long Wharf Theatre's education department, now celebrating its 30th year, is offering classes for students ages 7 to 13. These inventive classes, using pop culture to interest children in all aspects of performance. They also give students another option aside from traditional summer camp for enrichment and a good time.

THE HOW AND THE WHY Rounds Out TimeLine Theatre's 2013-14 Season

Mississippi Mud Productions will present The Blonde Bombshell Project, a new solo play written and starring Jen Danby and directed by Tony Nominee and Obie-Winning Director Austin Pendleton. Fresh from their collaboration as Catharine Holly and Dr. Sugar in Suddenly, Last Summer with Mississippi Mud, this new solo work is about about legendary Hollywood 'Blonde Bombshell' Marilyn Monroe in her final summer of 1962. ??

BREAKING BAD's Bryan Cranston to Star in A.R.T.'s ALL THE WAY; Full Cast Announced!

The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University has announced that three-time Emmy Award-winning actor Bryan Cranston will play the lead role of Lyndon Baines Johnson in Robert Schenkkan's new play All The Way opening the A.R.T.'s 2013-14 Season at the Loeb Drama Center. The production, directed by Bill Rauch, will begin performances on September 13, 2013.
