WET Productions is pleased to announce the launch of The 2009 INKubator Summer Series, a unique and intimate look into new plays featured in three double features by the most dynamic women creating theater today.

The U.S. premiere of the Playwrights Realm's production of DOV AND ALI - a new drama by playwright Anna Ziegler and directed by Katherine Kovner - opened at The Cherry Lane Studio Theatre (38 Commerce Street) on Friday, June 12 to enthusiastic reviews. Previews of DOV AND ALI began on June 5, and it will continue to play through June 27.

For 3 consecutive Mondays beginning June 15 at The DR2 Theatre, WET will present its 2009 INKubator Summer Series featuring new plays by some of the most dynamic women creating theater today.

The critically acclaimed Broadway production of EXIT THE KING will begin the final two weeks of its limited engagement, set to end Sunday, June 14 at the Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street). The production will have played 21 previews and 93 regular performances.

Wendy Kesselman's 'The Black Monk', which ran Off-Broadway from November 30th, 2008 through January 3rd, 2009, featuring Austin Pendleton, Elon Rutberg, Julie Craig, and Scott Robertson - under the direction of Kevin Newbury and musical direction of Chris Berg (with cellist Arthur Cook), will be making an original cast recording on Monday, May 25th, 2009. The album will be produced/engineered by Grammy Award winner John Kilgore. It will be released online in the fall exclusively on iTunes, and a record deal is pending.

EXIT THE KING's Susan Sarandon will be a live guest on 'Live with Regis & Kelly' this Thursday, May 21 between 9-10AM. EXIT THE KING is a limited engagement, through June 14 only.

EXIT THE KING's Tony nominated Geoffrey Rush will be a featured guest on 'CBS2 News Sunday' this Sunday, May 17 at approximately 6:50AM. For his portrayal of ?King Berenger,' Rush has been nominated for the Tony, Drama Desk and Drama League Awards and won the Outer Critic Circle and Theatre World Awards. National Corporate Theatre Fund (NCTF) will held its Annual Chairman's Awards Gala and benefit on Monday, April 20 at New York's Cipriani's Pegasus (30 Rockefeller Plaza). This year, NCTF Chairman James S. Turley, Chairman & CEO of Ernst & Young, honored Jane Fonda (returning to Broadway this season in 33 Variations), producer John Breglio (the recent revival of A Chorus Line) and USA TODAY. Accepting the award on behalf of the USA TODAY was be Ed. Cassidy. All net proceeds of the event will be distributed as the NCTF/John Breglio Fund for New American Theatre.
