Variety reports that Oscar winner Susan Sarandon will screen her latest two film projects at the 2009 Hamptons Film Festival.

RFK: The Journey to Justice is a commission led by the University of Notre Dame's DeBartolo Performing Arts Center and co-commissioned by the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center at the University of Maryland, Stanford Lively Arts at Stanford University, and the Modlin Center for the Arts at the University of Richmond. The U.S. premiere of the Playwrights Realm's production of DOV AND ALI - a new drama by playwright Anna Ziegler and directed by Katherine Kovner - opened at The Cherry Lane Studio Theatre (38 Commerce Street) on Friday, June 12 to enthusiastic reviews. Previews of DOV AND ALI began on June 5, and it will continue to play through June 27.

For 3 consecutive Mondays beginning June 15 at The DR2 Theatre, WET will present its 2009 INKubator Summer Series featuring new plays by some of the most dynamic women creating theater today.

The critically acclaimed Broadway production of EXIT THE KING will begin the final two weeks of its limited engagement, set to end Sunday, June 14 at the Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street). The production will have played 21 previews and 93 regular performances.

Wendy Kesselman's 'The Black Monk', which ran Off-Broadway from November 30th, 2008 through January 3rd, 2009, featuring Austin Pendleton, Elon Rutberg, Julie Craig, and Scott Robertson - under the direction of Kevin Newbury and musical direction of Chris Berg (with cellist Arthur Cook), will be making an original cast recording on Monday, May 25th, 2009. The album will be produced/engineered by Grammy Award winner John Kilgore. It will be released online in the fall exclusively on iTunes, and a record deal is pending.
