Tony Award-winner Elizabeth Franz, Lauren Ambrose and Treat Williams are all set for the Berkshire Playwrights Lab Gala May 21. The gala will be presented at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center at 8pm.

Sing for Hope (www.singforhope.org), a public service organization for artists, announces that it is installing 60 pianos in the parks and public spaces of the city's five boroughs to be available to all who pass by from June 21 to July 5. Green Day's American Idiot is undoubtedly one of the season's most ambitious projects. BROADWAY BEARS is an auction featuring a cuddly chorus line of one-of-a-kind teddy bears, each meticulously outfitted in original, handmade costumes by Broadway's leading costume designers and representing memorable characters from plays and musicals, past and present.
