The Broadway @ NOCCA series first launched in early 2013 when it made the leap from its now famous summer home at The Art House in Provincetown, MA. In this, the series' fourth season in New Orleans, the star-powered tradition continues with Michael Cerveris, 2015 Tony winner for "Fun Home" on December 14 at 7:30 PM.
Laura Cantrell to Play Rough Trade NYC, 10/27

Nashville-born, New York City-based singer-songwriter Laura Cantrell will perform at Rough Trade NYC on October 27. The show is in support of Cantrell's critically acclaimed new album, No Way There From Here, which is out now on Thrift Shop Recordings. In celebration of the release, Cantrell recently performed the album tracks 'Starry Skies' and 'Can't Wait' on 'CBS This Morning.'

Continuing its popular live-stream series, which recently featured a Memorial Concert for Pete and Toshi Seeger in July, Lincoln Center will live-stream concerts on August 6 at 7:30 pm, featuring Emmylou Harris & Rodney Crowell plus an opening set by Robert Ellis; on August 8 at 7:30 pm with sets by The Campbell Brothers performing a sacred steel version of John Coltrane's A Love Supreme and Cassandra Wilson; and August 9 at 6 pm featuring Rosanne Cash, The Lone Bellow, and Buddy Miller & Jim Lauderdale.

On May 13, Signature Sounds will release Blood Test, the latest LP from acclaimed singer-songwriter Kris Delmhorst. The release marks Delmhorst's first album of original material since 2008's Shotgun Singer, which Performing Songwriter described as 'a tour de force of singing, writing and production that gains in richness with each repetition,' and the Boston Herald called 'a work of lo-fi beauty, and evidence of an artist taking flight.' In between, the versatile performer recorded and released Cars, a covers album of songs by the seminal new wave/proto-punk band of the same name, which PopMatters called a 'victory' and noted, 'Cars has the potential to bring a brilliant young songwriter to a wider audience.'

Lincoln Center's acclaimed series American Songbook has returned to the Allen Room for its fourteenth season celebrating the diversity of American popular song. For 16 nights the series is exploring the best of the golden age of musical standards through to today's most dynamic songwriting. Former Nashville residents announce the 'NYC Loves Nashville' Benefit Concert at Le Poisson Rouge on July 27th. Doors open at 7:30pm with the show beginning at 8:00pm and tickets are $20 at Le Poisson Rouge's website (www.lprnyc.com). The concert will feature a diverse group of artists coming together to raise funds and awareness for the relief efforts in Nashville, Tennessee after unrelenting rainstorms in early May caused severe flood damage all across Music City. Participants include Tony Award winner Michael Cerveris, Nashville's own Laura Cantrell, Stuedabakerbrown, Caleb Hawley, Jennings and Milton. These artists have also generously donated tracks - some unreleased - that can be downloaded for free for a limited time with the purchase of a ticket online.
