Award-winning composer and lyricist Joe Iconis will take the stage on Monday, May 5, 2014 at New World Stages as part of MURDER FOR TWO's newly launched concert series Murderous Musical Mondays. The unplugged concert, which will feature both new songs and fan favorites, will take place immediately following the 7pm performance of MURDER FOR TWO at New World Stages (Stage 5 - 340 West 50th Street) on Monday, May 5th, 2014. Admittance to the concert is free to all those with tickets to the May 5th performance of MURDER FOR TWO. Tickets are available now on Telecharge.com.

Eric William Morris, Jason SweetTooth Williams, Molly Hager and more will be part of Joe Iconis And Family at The Laurie Beechman Theater. Joe Iconis And Family is nominated for a 2014 M.A.C. 'Show Of The Year' Award.

Title of Show's Susan Blackwell will host Cutting-Edge Composers at 54 Below on 2/17 at 9:30pm! She will be joined by Broadway performers Ben Platt (Book of Mormon), Ben Fankhauser (Newsies), Emma Hunton (Next to Normal) and many more as they present material from new musicals by up-and-coming composers. Nic Rouleau, currently starring in The Book of Mormon on Broadway, and Donna Vivino, who played Elphaba in Broadway's Wicked, will sing songs from brand new musicals in the Cutting-Edge Composers concert at 54 Below on 2/17 at 9:30pm.

On February 17th at 9:30pm, Cutting-Edge Composers will present their fifth concert at 54 Below! Committed to showcasing up-and-coming musical theatre writers by providing them with concert venues, Broadway performers and musicians, Cutting-Edge Composers has an exclusive video spotlight on Broadwayworld.com. The concert, directed and produced by Laura Pietropinto, with Musical Direction by Julie McBride and Benjamin Rauhala, will feature songs from new musicals in the works.

So now it's time for all you cabaret performers and fans to vote for the best singers, musicians, songs, and shows of the year. Voting will continue until Sunday night January 5 and the winners will be announced later that week. Kathy Evans, Founder and Executive Director, announced the nine musicals and eighteen writers selected for the third summer of the Rhinebeck Writers Retreat. For nine consecutive weeks beginning June 23rd, each writing team will have an individual weeklong residency in Rhinebeck, New York to write their musical. All costs are fully funded by donors including The ASCAP Foundation, The Dramatists Guild Fund, and The Noel Coward Foundation. Writers include Tony-winners and nominees Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening), and Heidi Rodewald and Stew (Passing Strange), and multi-award winners Adam Gwon, Laura Harrington, Joe Iconis, Kait Kerrigan, and Brian Lowdermilk.
