Six musical acts earned their first Gold or Platinum album certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in January, according to the organization's monthly certifications tally.

The Skivvies will make their Los Angeles debut at the Rockwell Table & Stage on March 4 at 7:30pm with Tony Award Winning special guests, Laura Benanti and Daisy Eagan.

The stage at the "2012 MTV EMA" will be overflowing with some of the biggest names in music from across all genres, as MTV today announced the latest batch of acts that will rock Frankfurt's Festhalle.
