The cast of 'Altar Boyz' is set to perform at 'Broadway in Bryant Park' this Thursday, August 13th. The free lunchtime concert, presented by 106.7 LiteFM, will take place on The Bryant Park Lawn from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. Members of the casts of 'Billy Elliot,' 'South Pacific' and 'Mamma Mia!' complete Thursday's lineup.

ALTAR BOYZ announced today that it would be changing the lyrics to the song 'The Calling' (the Gary Adler tune that includes the popular lyric 'Jesus Called Me On My Cell Phone'). Long running shows need to keep up with ever changing technology and Altar Boyz is no exception. Beginning this week, Mark will no longer sing of Jesus ?beeping' him, but instead will hear from JC on Twitter! The new lyric is 'I felt a vibrating feeling on the belt loop of my pants. Jesus tweeted on my twitter, a message texted from above.'

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) seeks submissions for the 9th Annual TRU VOICES New Musicals Reading Series (deadline: August 22, 2009). TheTRU VOICES New Musicals Reading Series is a unique series created to support producers who have an interest in developing new musicals. Sanchez is the new quarterback for the New York Jets of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Jets fifth overall in the 2009 NFL Draft.
