The National Theatre will be touring Sally Cookson's energetic and imaginative new adaptation of Charlotte Bronte's masterpiece Jane Eyre from April to September 2017 with a week-long stop at Theatre Royal, Glasgow from Monday 5-Saturday 10 June.

Sophie Thompson has had to withdraw from the cast of Peter Pan, the National Theatre's Christmas show, due to a broken wrist. Anna Francolini, last seen at the NT in wonder.land, will take over the role of Captain Hook/ Mrs Darling. The NT is delighted that Anna was available to step into the role, and wishes Sophie a speedy recovery.

After a sell-out critically acclaimed West End run in 2014, Sally Cookson's Olivier Award nominated production of Hetty Feather returns to the West End with a limited summer run at the Duke of York's Theatre from 6 August to 6 September. The West End run will form part of a major national tour which begins at Bristol Old Vic in July and continues through 2016, with an extended Christmas run at The Lowry, Salford.
