Dozens of theater artists have signed a statement expressing solidarity with the Movement for Black Lives following the cancellation of Broadway Supports Black Lives Matter, a benefit that was to be hosted at Feinstein's/54 Below, a popular cabaret club.

As it embarks on its 10th Anniversary Season, Sideshow Theatre Company is pleased to announce the playwrights for "The Freshness Initiative," the company's commissioning and new play development program, now in its third year. The 2016/17 season will feature public readings of brand new plays by J. Chanya Button will bring Dame Eileen Atkins' play VITA AND VIRGINIA to the big screen. The story follows the romance and friendship of famed authors Virginia Woolf and Vita Sackville-West.
