Very Intense Productions and Your Theatrics | Jeremy Youett and Jacob Harvey present RSO FEST, a series of concerts showcasing the scores of three new musicals by composer Ryan Scott Oliver. RSO FEST launches at New York's premier Supper Club, 54 Below (254 West 54th Street, NYC), tonight October 7th with 35mm: A Musical Exhibition (produced in association with Tony Award winning producer John Johnson), followed by Darling on Monday November 4 (produced in association with Grammy Award winner Kurt Deutsch and Sh-k-boom) and finallyJasper in Deadland completing the trilogy on Monday November 18 (produced in association with Prospect Theatre Company).
Tonight, September 30 (7pm), some of Broadway's biggest stars will sing a song or tell their story at an intimate Salon benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS at 210 Central Park South. Among the performers scheduled to appear are Maya Days, Meghann Fahy, Felicia Finley, Jose Llana, Andrea McArdle, N'Kenge, Chris Noth, Kate Shindle, Christopher Sieber and Kevin Spirtas.
The 2013 Newtown Arts Festival recently presented a special benefit concert, 'Broadway Sings for Newtown,' as part of the festival's eight days of cultural programming at Walnut Hill Community Church (156 Walnut Hill Road). Check out photos from the special event below!
