This weekend, the casts of more than 30 West End shows perform for free in Trafalgar Square! WEST END LIVE 2016 took place yesterday, 18 June (11am-6pm) and today, 19 June (12pm-6pm). One of today's performances featured Ramin Karimloo and Kerry Ellis belting out a tune for MURDER BALLAD. Both performers are set to appear in the UK Premiere of the musical this fall. According to The Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye, Victoria Hamilton-Barritt will join Kerry Ellis in the Sam Yates-helmed UK premiere of MURDER BALLAD at the Arts Theatre this autumn. Performances are scheduled to run 29th September - 29th October 2016.

Manhattan Theatre Club's American premiere of The Father, the new play by Moliere Award winner Florian Zeller, with a translation by two-time Tony Award winner Christopher Hampton (Sunset Boulevard, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, God of Carnage) and directed by Tony Award winner Doug Hughes (Doubt, Outside Mullingar, City of Conversation) will extend by one week at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street). The limited engagement, which opened on April 14 to critical raves, has been extended through Sunday, June 19.

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) have just announced two additional productions as part of Manhattan Theatre Club's upcoming 2016-2017 season: The Broadway premiere of August Wilson's Jitney, directed by Tony Award winner Ruben Santiago-Hudson and the New York Premiere of Cost of Living, written by Martyna Majok and directed by Jo Bonney, in association with Williamstown Theatre Festival, Mandy Greenfield Artistic Director. Cost of Living will have its World Premiere at Williamstown Theatre Festival on the Nikos Stage from June 29 to July 10, 2016.
