Acclaimed Off-Broadway theater company Playwrights Horizons announced today a list of performers and speakers for its annual Spring Gala on Monday evening, May 5 at the event space 583 Park Avenue. Titled "IN THE BEGINNING," the evening will honor the theater company's Founding Artistic Director Bob Moss.
Off-Broadway's award-winning Irish Repertory Theatre presents its final production of its 2013-2014 Season, a revival of Gardner McKay's SEA MARKS, directed by Ciaran O'Reilly. The romantic two-hander will star Tony and Drama Desk Award nominee Xanthe Elbrick (CORAM BOY, Irish Rep's CANDIDA) and Patrick Fitzgerald (Irish Rep's GIBRALTAR). Rubicon Theatre Company announces a Broadway Cabaret Benefit that will feature Broadway stars Krysta Rodriguez (First Date, The Addams Family and 'Smash') and Megan McGinnis (LES MISERABLES, Little Women and Beauty and the Beast). Taking place on May 12th at 7 pm in Montecito, CA, the night will consist of hors d'oeuvres, a hosted bar, a silent auction, and a specially designed program of various Broadway hits performed as an intimate concert.

A cast of six will lead the reading of Wendy Beckett's Off-Broadway - bound production of ALL MOD CONS. This new play, directed by Evan Bergman is the fifth in a series of Ms. Beckett's plays that will be brought across the pacific from Australia by Pascal Productions.
