ZOMBIE Gets A Revival At Theater Row Complex 2/18-3/29

Following a critically acclaimed World Premiere at The 2008 New York International Fringe Festival, Razors Edge Productions proudly presents a revival of ZOMBIE, an award-winning solo play by Bill Connington, adapted from the novella by Joyce Carol Oates. ZOMBIE is directed by Thomas Caruso and performed by Bill Connington. ZOMBIE runs from February 18 to March 29, 2009 in a limited 6-week engagement at the Theatre Row Complex (Studio Theatre), located at 410 West 42 Street between 9 & 10 Avenues in NYC. Previews begin February 18 for a February 21 opening. Post-show discussions will follow select shows.

Orpheum Offers Dinner On Stage 2/17

Gourmands, Theatre enthusiasts, and Memphis history buffs alike will enjoy this special evening at the Orpheum. First, join Orpheum President Pat Halloran on a tour of 'The South's Finest Theatre'. The tour begins in the lobby with a brief overview of the Orpheum's 80 years, and then progresses to the stage where Orpheum Star Search champion Brandon Bailey will showcase his winning performance. Guests will also have the opportunity to see the colorful show murals that line the hall of dressing rooms where leading men such as Cary Grant and Yul Brynner , crooners like Johnny Mathis and Robert Goulet, and sex symbol Mae West prepped before performing to a sold out theatre. Enjoy a different look, the star's perspective, of the ornate chandeliers and gilded moldings of one of the oldest theatres in the country. The Orpheum joined the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Broadway's most talked about new musical and the biggest Tony Award?-winner in years is coming to the Fabulous Fox Theatre in St. Louis. Spring Awakening, the 8-time Tony Award? winning Broadway musical, will play a two-week engagement from February 10-22, 2009. Curtain times for the U.S. Bank Broadway Series presentation are Tuesdays through Fridays at 8 p.m.; Saturdays at 2 & 8 p.m.; Sunday, February 15 at 2 & 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, February 22 at 2 p.m. There is also a weekday matinee on Thursday, February 19 at 1 p.m.

Ragtime will play a 3-week limited engagement at the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church (30-44 Crescent St, Astoria, NY 11102). Performances begin Thursday, February 5th and continue through Sunday, February 22nd.

A sexual psychopath, he aspires to create zombie slaves to meet his every need. Les Misérables in Concert makes its Hollywood Bowl debut in a production featuring Melora Hardin as Fantine, Maddie Levy as Young Cosette, Tom Lowe as Enjolras, Michele Maika as Cosette, Michael McCormick as Thénardier, J. Mark McVey as Valjean, Lea Michele as Éponine, Brian Stokes Mitchell as Javert, Sage Ryan as Gavroche and John Lloyd Young as Marius. Rosie O'Donnell, who was to play the role of Madame Thenardier, has withdrawn from the performances in order to care for her eldest son, who broke his wrist. She will be replaced by veteran actress Ruth Williamson.
