Adam Feldman, president of the New York Drama Critics' Circle (NYDCC), has announced that the Circle will meet at the offices of Time Out New York magazine on Thursday, April 30, to select the winners of the 75th annual New York Drama Critics' Circle Awards, which will be announced at approximately 7pm, immediately following the meeting.

Based on real-life events and using music, dance and video, Lucy Prebble's Enron explores one of the most infamous scandals in financial history, reviewing the tumultuous 1990s and casting a new light on the financial turmoil in which the world currently finds itself.

Betty Cuningham Gallery announces an exhibition of a survey of drawings by Rackstraw Downes. It will be the artist's third show and first drawings show at the gallery. Included in the exhibition will be approximately twenty works on paper selected from the past thirty years. Downes will be present for an opening reception on June 3.

Two-time Academy Award winner Denzel Washington returns to Broadway, alongside Academy Award nominee and Tony Award winner Viola Davis, in August Wilson's Pulitzer Prize-winning play. This strictly limited 13-week engagement began on April 14th at the Cort Theatre. Although he's already been at work for several weeks, today it was revealed that Joe Goode has joined the creative team for the world premiere of Girlfriend at the Tony Award-winning Berkeley Repertory Theatre. The renowned San Francisco choreographer is working alongside Berkeley Rep's associate artistic director, Obie Award-winner Les Waters, to stage this tender new show. Featuring music and lyrics by Matthew Sweet and a book by Todd Almond, Girlfriend begins previews on April 9, opens April 14, and closes May 9, 2010.
