The 30A SONGWRITERS FESTIVAL has announced the full line-up for the January 17, 18 and 19, 2014event set to take place at venues along northwest Florida's scenic Highway 30A and the resort neighborhoods of South Walton. The 5th annual celebration will feature performances from such esteemed artists as Kristian Bush (Sugarland), Loudon Wainwright III, Ani DiFranco, Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Richard Thompson, Shawn Mullins, John Oates, Jerry Douglas, Rusty Young (Poco), Jonathon Edwards, Jesse Harris, Craig Fuller (Pure Prairie League), John Gorka, Mary Gauthier, James McMurtry, Bob Schneider, Glenn Phillips Band, Matthew Sweet, Jeffrey Steele, Jim Lauderdale, Jimbo Mathus (Squirrel Nut Zippers) and Tinsley Ellis.

The 5th annual 30A SONGWRITERS FESTIVAL--set for January 17, 18 and 20, 2014--has announced the initial line-up for the 2014 celebration of singers and songs. Teenage country-pop sensations Jetset Getset will celebrate their new album 'Saturday Night' (Playback Records), when they help open for rising star Daphne Willis at the Hard Rock Cafe in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday, December 19. Joining Willis will be the legendary John Oates, of the classic rock duo Hall & Oates. Also performing that evening will be singers/songwriters Blane Howard and Sarah Lou Richards.

The Unsigned Only Music Competition today announced its judging panel for the 2013 competition, which is now accepting entries. The panel of judges consists of the top echelon of recording artists and music journalists, representing the ten categories of popular music covered by the competition.

Continuing Ravinia's series of $10 concerts in the intimate Bennett Gordon Hall is pianist Behzod Abduraimov performing a 6 p.m. concert on Friday, Aug. 31. Pianist Sean Botkin, who performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in an all-Rachmaninoff program on Aug. 2 at Ravinia, returns for a solo recital in Bennett Gordon Hall at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 28.
