It was announced today by Lylle Breier, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Special Events for Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, 'The El Capitan Theatre is the only theatre in the world screening 'The Little Mermaid' in 3D.' This exclusive presentation also features a live preshow sing-a-long with Sofia from Disney's 'Sofia the First' along with a special live appearance by Ariel after the movie. El Capitan guests will also receive an exclusive giveaway at every show from Disney Junior (while supplies last).

Chris Isaacson Presents and Upright Cabaret have announced that Keith David will join Broadway diva and Tony Award-winner Lillias White's new show, A WOMAN ON LOVE, at the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood tonight. There will be two performances only, on Mondays, June 3 and 10 at 8:30pm, with cocktail and dinner service beginning at 6:30pm. The June 10 show also marks the second anniversary of The Night After The Tonys, a tradition begun in 2012 by Ms. White and Upright Cabaret.

Now according to The Wrap, the show will arrive in spring 2014.

The New York Times is reporting that MARY POPPINS will close on Broadway on March 3, 2013 to make way for renovations , followed by its next tenant 'A musical adaptation of the company's 1992 animated film "Aladdin," according to two Broadway theater executives. The two executives spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss production plans that remain confidential. A Disney spokesman did not immediately return a phone message seeking comment on Monday.'

The Muny announced today principal casting for the third show of its 94th season, Disney's Aladdin (July 5-13), directed by Gary Griffin, and choreographed by Alex Sanchez. Tony® Nominees Robin de Jesus and John Tartaglia star as Aladdin and the Genie, respectively. Joining them will be Jason Graae as Omar, Curtis Holbrook as Iago, Francis Jue as Kassim, Eddie Korbich as Babkak, Samantha Massell as Jasmine, Ken Page as the Sultan, and Thom Sesma as Jafar.
