Madison Opera opens its 50th anniversary season with Mozart's classic comedy The Marriage of Figaro on Friday, Nov. 5 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 7 at 2:30 p.m. in Overture Hall.

This November, Madison Opera and the Overture Center presents The Marriage of Figaro, Mozart's comedic opera. The story follows Figaro and Susanna, two young lovers who intend to be married, but whose plans were interrupted by Count Almaviva.

Madison Opera presents Opera in the Park 2010 on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 8 p.m. in Garner Park on Madison's West side. This free concert of opera arias and Broadway favorites concludes Madison Opera's 2009-2010 Season.
