Birdland will kick-off their exciting month of programming with the following acts.

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre - the monthly gathering of the International Order of Sodomites, the centuries-old organization which sets the mythic Gay Agenda - will conclude its acclaimed eight year run this Sunday, May 14 with two performances at 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater.

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre - the monthly gathering of the International Order of Sodomites, the centuries-old organization which sets the mythic Gay Agenda - will continue its final season on Sunday, March 19 with a celebration of the legendary rock band Velvet Underground at 9:30 PM at JOE'S PUB at The Public Theater. The Meeting*, the acclaimed comedy/variety show known for its audacious humor, trailblazing political discourse and button-pushing cultural exploration, will come to an end at the conclusion of the season in May 2017. Special guests will be announced soon. Tracy Stark, who leads a four piece band, serves as the evening's music director.

John Pizzarelli returns to Cafe Carlyle with an all-new show celebrating iconic singer-songwriter Johnny Mercer, April 25 - May 6. The New York Times recently described John Pizzarelli and his wife Jessica Molaskey as "the supreme nightclub act of our time." Specifically, Jazz Weekly recently raved about John Pizzarelli's Johnny Mercer program: "A gig like this oozes with style, class and fun, with Pizzarelli being one of the best ambassadors for the Great American Songbook. One of his best."At the Cafe, he'll perform Johnny's most recognizable hits as well as lesser-known gems such as "Jamboree Jones" and "Slue Foot."

The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel has announced the Cafe Carlyle's spring 2017 season, which features the venue debuts of actor/singer John O'Hurley, classical crossover star Jackie Evancho, and singer-songwriter Lisa Loeb; as well as the return of audience favorite John Pizzarelli.

The Colony in Palm Beach and The Carlyle in Manhattan are the two finest venues in the nation and probably the world created to present the art of cabaret  Both Cafe Carlyle and The Royal Room have had the honor of engaging the premier cabaret artists of our generation to their audiences. 

Bay Area Cabaret continues its acclaimed series at the Venetian Room at Fairmont San Francisco (950 Mason Street atop Nob Hill) with two special shows in March-one a tribute to cabaret as a distinctive art form, and the other a return engagement for two of the most popular Bay Area Cabaret artists. On March 5 at 5:00 pm, A Cabaret Spectacular will celebrate the art of cabaret performance featuring some of the finest cabaret performers from across the nation. Then on March 26 at 7:30 pm, world-renowned guitarist and singer John Pizzarelli and Broadway soprano Jessica Molaskey, return to the Bay Area Cabaret stage with their brand new hit show from Cafe Carlyle in New York. The Meeting*, the acclaimed comedy/variety show known for its audacious humor, trailblazing political discourse and button-pushing cultural exploration, will come to an end at the conclusion of the season in May 2017. Special guests for the February show include Ashanti J'Aria, who joins previously-announced Carolee Carmello, T. Oliver Reid, Rob Maitner, Jacob Hoffman, Lori Ann Ferreri, Rosie Lani Fiedelmanand Tera-Lee Pollin. Tracy Stark serves as the evening's music director.
