Submarine Entertainment announced today that it has sold US DVD/Digital/VOD rights to Cinedigm Entertainment Group to Oscar Nominated Director Liz Garbus's feature documentary film LOVE MARILYN. Submarine previously sold US TV rights to HBO Documentary Films at the Toronto Film Festival and has also sold all Canadian rights to Mongrel Media and Airline Rights to Jaguar Distribution.

According to Deadline.com, stage veteran Liev Schreiber has joined the cast of the upcoming Lee Daniels film The Butler, as Lyndon B Johnson. Danny Strong wrote the script with Daniels.

RAY DONOVAN, a one-hour drama starring Emmy(R) and Golden Globe(R) Award nominee Liev Schreiber, and MASTERS OF SEX, a one-hour drama starring Emmy and BAFTA Award nominee Michael Sheen and acclaimed actress Lizzy Caplan, have both received 12 episode orders and will both film in Los Angeles for air in 2013.

Singer and actress Christina Milian will guest star on an episode of A GIFTED MAN titled 'In Case of Co-Dependents,' to be broadcast in February. Christina will play Shawnee Baker, a successful pop star suffering from unusual symptoms. This episode will be directed by recurring guest star Eriq La Salle (E-Mo Morris).

On Monday January 9, Red Bull Theatre will hold a staged reading of PIRANDELLO'S HENRY IV, a new version of the classic play written by Tom Stoppard. Variety reports that actor Joel Edgerton has officially signed on to join the cast of Kathryn Bigelow's currently untitled Osama Bin Laden movie. It had been rumored that Edgerton, best known as the star of 'The Warrior', was interested in the project, but according to the report negotiations have only now been made official.

Multitalented actor Liev Schreiber has been cast in the title role in the SHOWTIME pilot RAY DONOVAN, a drama set in Hollywood, California. Production will begin in Los Angeles in early 2012. RAY DONOVAN is a SHOWTIME production and is created by Southland creator Ann Biderman. Biderman, Mark Gordon and Bryan Zuriff will executive produce.

The annual gathering reveals the shows that will continue in the upcoming season and introduces the new additions to the line up. Staples such as The Good Wife, Survivor, CSI and How I Met Your Mother return. New additions include Person Of Interest and Unforgettable.

CBS announced today its new 2011-2012 primetime schedule, ordering five new series and making key time-period moves for CSI and THE GOOD WIFE to strengthen its already top-rated primetime lineup. CBS will, once again, finish the season as America's most watched network, marking the eighth time it has done so in the last nine years.
