Multi award-winning comedian, Paul Mecurio, and monthly favorite act, Dueling Pianos, will welcome in 2013 at Comix At Foxwoods with an evening of dancing, drinking and fun, lasting until 3 a.m. The New Year's Eve festivities will begin at 9 p.m., when Mecurio, will showcase his hilarious routine on the Comix stage, followed by Dueling Pianos, who will hit the stage at 10:30 p.m. New Year's Eve party favors, a champagne toast and a post-midnight dessert buffet will follow the two exceptional comedy performances. 2013 Comix Countdown tickets can be purchased in advance for $50 (general admission) or $125 (VIP admission). Buy your tickets early, as prices are subject to change as New Year's Eve approaches. A two drink minimum applies to all tickets. This show is intended for mature audiences only.

Sundance Institute today announced the four documentary film projects and composers that have been paired together for the tenth Composers + Documentary Lab, October 26 through November 1 at Sundance Resort in Sundance, Utah. The Lab is a joint initiative of the Institute's Documentary Film Program and Fund (DFP) and Film Music Program.

Named one of Variety's "10 Comics To Watch," and one of Entertainment Weekly's "Comedians on the Rise" in 2008, stand-up comedian John Mulaney continues to prove why he's a must-see. On Saturday, Nov. 10, Mulaney will be stepping on the Comix At Foxwoods stage for two hilarious shows at 8 and 10:30 p.m.

Comic star on the rise, Mo Mandel, is set to bring his hysterically funny routine to Comix At Foxwoods. Mandel will be closing out November with four hilarious comedy shows at Comix, starting Thursday, Nov. 29 at 8 p.m., and continuing Friday, Nov. 30 at 8 p.m., and Saturday, Dec. 1 at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. General admission tickets are on sale now for $20 ($30 the day of), and VIP admission tickets for $40 ($50 the day of). Focus Features' animated comedy thriller ParaNorman gets its nationwide release by Focus today, Friday, August 17th, 2012. Following LAIKA and Focus' groundbreaking Academy Award-nominated animated feature Coraline, ParaNorman is only the second stop-motion animated feature to be made in 3D. Jon Brion created the score for the film.
