Weston Cage has been all over the news and Hollywood scene of late. Paparazzi have constantly been catching Wes at celebrity events and red carpet premieres, most recently with Johnny Knoxville for the premiere of Being Evel. The music and entertainment press have been buzzing about Wes' transformation from a black metal icon to his new look as an edgy and sophisticated rocker. The transformation began this summer when Wes began working on his upcoming album which will move away from the black metal image that fans are familiar with, and begin his new brand in the genre of hard rock.

I AM HOPE to Premiere at United Solo Festival

Mia Raye Smith's solo show, I Am Hope, will have its World Premiere at the United Solo Theatre Festival on September 23rd. The play was developed in Matt Hovermen's Go-Solo Workshop. A shorter version of the play was produced at Emerging Artists New Work Series in the Fall of 2014. The production is directed by Mary Catherine Donnelly whose recent directing credits include Jay-Z & Me (Edinburgh Fringe, Amsterdam Fringe, 59E59).

Hamilton star and creator Lin-Manuel Miranda recently revealed in a Vulture article some of his influences for the musical that has been taking New York City by storm. His inspirations for the new hip-hop musical range from everything from Jay-Z to Les Miz. Now, he just revealed in a recent tweet some of the musical references from songs in the show.
