Samuel L. Jackson will return to Spike TV to host 'VGA TEN,' the tenth anniversary of the 'Video Game Awards' live on Friday, December 7 at 9:00pm ET/6:00pm PT. The acclaimed international film, stage and video game star, most recently featured in the summer blockbuster, 'The Avengers,' has hosted the 'VGAs' three times from 2005-2007.

The five-part series narrated by the gaming industry's most accomplished voice artist and actor, Nolan North ('Uncharted' series, 'Batman Arkham City'), THE TOP 100 VIDEO GAMES OF ALL TIME, will air Monday June 11 through Friday June 15 at 8pm PT/ET.

AFI Life Achievement Award honoree Meryl Streep will present Shirley MacLaine with the American Film Institute's 40th Life Achievement Award - America's highest honor for a career in film. When the sad news came out this morning that famed Disney songwriter Robert B. Sherman died yesterday, March 5, in London, some of our first thoughts here at BroadwayWorld went out to Tony-winner Marc Shaiman. Shaiman had been a huge proponent of the incredible 'THE BOYS - The Sherman Brothers' Story' documentary and it was his enthusiasm that sent us off to see the fantastic film, and our lives were better off for it.
