Glory|struck productions will present the Los Angeles return of the Damon Intrabartolo-Jon Hartmere pop opera at the Hayworth Theatre in Downtown LA, September 5, 2013. Payson Lewis (NBC's 'The Sing Off', 'Victorious'), Jonah Platt ('The Office') and Lindsay Pearce ('Glee', 'The Glee Project') will star in the Los Angeles production. Upon the conclusion of six weeks of intense competition which began January 8, nearly a thousand patrons supported 20 of Southern California's newest and most dynamic, young musical theatre performers in LA's Next Great Stage Star 2012 at Sterling's Upstairs at Vitello's in Studio City, CA.

On Sunday January 15 producers Michael Sterling and Tony Monsour presented the second week of the annual six-week competition LA's Next Great Stage Star 2012, now in its sixth knockout year. Twenty very talented contestants are competing for the title which will be announced at the end of the finale on Sunday February 12.

Rewrites are a painstaking part of the process and there are many reasons why a song - even a good one - may never make it to opening night. As the story develops it might no longer makes sense, the character who sings it could be cut from the show, or a better song may come along to replace it.
