Gonzo Moose Theatre Company have announced the UK Tour of The Thing That Came From Over There, running January 27th 2017 - April 8th 2017.

Des Moines Metro Opera, in an historic partnership with the Iowa National Guard and Camp Dodge, will open its 45th Anniversary Season with a production of David T. Little's poignant and chilling one-act opera Soldier Songs in late January 2017.

MasterVoices (formerly The Collegiate Chorale), celebrating its 75th anniversary during the 2016-2017 season, presents St. John Passion by Johann Sebastian Bach on February 9, 2017 at 7pm at Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall (57th Street and 7th Avenue, New York, NY 10019).  The production will be conducted by MasterVoices' Artistic Director Ted Sperling and will feature the MasterVoices chorus, Michael Slattery, Jesse Blumberg, Adam Lau, Jennifer Zetlan, Tamara Mumford, Ben Bliss,and Daniel Okulitch,with New York Baroque Incorporated.

Boog City's annual Presidents' Day Weekend event, Welcome to Boog City 10.5 Poetry, Music, Theater, and Film Festival, will take place from Fri. Feb. 17-Sun. Feb. 19.

Peters is noted for her 35-year association with the Metropolitan Opera Company in New York, among the longest such associations between a singer and a company in opera. She was awarded the National Medal of Arts in 1998.
