Opera Exposures to Present THE ELIZABETH TAYLOR GREENFIELD STORY

As part of the Women's History Month Celebration, OPERA EXPOSURES, the not-for-profit opera company founded by Edna Greenwich in 2004, will present The Elizabeth Taylor Greenfield Story, a Memorial Concert in honor of America's premier female vocalist in opera and contemporary music in the 19th century, on Sunday, March 12, 2017, at 3:00 PM at St. Mark's Church in the Bowery, 131 East 10th Street at Second Avenue.

NYC Opera Presents Ottorino Respighi's 'La Campana Sommersa', 3/31

Since opening the 2016 - 2017 season last September, New York City Opera has reestablished itself as a vital part of New York City's cultural landscape, delivering new productions, New York premieres and sold-out performances. The season opened with a critically acclaimed double bill of Leoncavallo's Pagliacci and Rachmaninoff's Aleko bringing the latter to the New York stage for the first time. In November, City Opera presented the New York premiere of Tobin Stokes' Iraq War opera, Fallujah. Last month City Opera's new production of Leonard Bernstein's Candide, directed by Broadway legend Harold Prince became a highlight of the New York season, with a run that was extended from six to ten sold-out performances.

Re-Interpretation of THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY to be Staged at the Festival of Sex, Love and Death at the Pleasance Theatre

Ruby In The Dust announce their involvement in the Festival of Sex, Love and Death: a brand new multi-arts festival featuring an innovative and exciting programme of events: opera, cabaret, physical theatre, new writing and spoken word. The festival will form a melting pot of theatre-makers connected by the key forces that drive how we perceive and experience our lives: sex, love and death. The festival runs at the Pleasance Theatre from 22nd June to 1st July.

The world premiere of the long-awaited Jim Steinman's Bat Out Of Hell - The Musical will take place in London's West End at the London Coliseum, opening on Tuesday 20 June 2017, following previews from 5 June, for a limited season until 22 July 2017. The show began previews at Manchester Opera House on 17 February, running until 8 April 2017.
