Combine more than 20 unforgettable Gershwin songs like "I Got Rhythm" and "Someone to Watch Over Me" with lots of fabulous dancing and a comical boy-meets-girl love story and you get Crazy for You, the rousing, Tony Award-winning musical that closes the 2012 Music Circus Season, at Wells Fargo Pavilion from August 28 - September 2. Playing Bobby Child will be award-winning Broadway song-and-dance man Noah Racey, who has performed on Broadway in Thoroughly Modern Millie, Follies, Curtains and Never Gonna Dance. Playing the feisty Polly Baker will be Anne Horak, whose Broadway and touring credits include Young Frankenstein and White Christmas.
Matthew Broderick Set for 'Moby Dick' Reading to Benefit South Street Seaport Museum

Matthew Broderick will appear in a benefit performance for New York City's South Street Seaport Museum on Monday, October 15 at 7:30 pm. The 'Celebrating Moby-Dick Benefit' will be an immersive evening of readings and films, starring Broderick as Ishmael, Edward Herrmann as Ahab, and John Douglas Thompson as Father Mapple.

So many cabaret shows, so little time . . . to write reviews that is. During his almost two years as a cabaret reviewer, BroadwayWorld.com critic Stephen Hanks managed to do a pretty good job of writing critiques during a show's run or soon after the run ended. According to Indiewire, Spike Lee wants to make a film adaptation of the George Gershwin musical Porgy and Bess and has confirmed that negotiations are 'still in the works.' The Tony Award-winning revival starring Norm Lewis, Audra McDonald and David Alan Grier is currently playing on Broadway.

Two-time Tony Award winner Judy Kaye, currently starring in the Tony-winning hit musical comedy NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT, will sing the national anthem at Citi Field on Thursday, August 9th for the New York Mets game against the Miami Marlins at 12 p.m. NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT, featuring music and lyrics by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin and a book by two-time Tony Award-winner Joe DiPietro, stars Matthew Broderick and four time Tony Award nominee Kelli O'Hara. The production is directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award-winner Kathleen Marshall. The production is now playing at Broadway's Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street).
