Porchlight Music Theatre and Artistic Director Michael Weber are proud to announce the continuation of the fourth season of Chicago's hit "lost" musicals in staged concert series, Porchlight Revisits Little Me, music by Cy Coleman, lyrics by Carolyn Leigh and book by Neil Simon based on the novel by Patrick Dennis, with direction by Porchlight Artistic Director Michael Weber, musical direction by Linda Madonia, choreography by Craig Miller with special guest choreography by veteran Bob Fosse dancer Jane Lanier and starring Jeff Award-winner Matt Crowle. 

Retter Entertainment is pleased to announce their production of 13 The Musical. Music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown and a book by Dan Elish and Robert Horn. Following a move from New York City to small-town Indiana, young Evan Goldman grapples with his parents' divorce, prepares for his impending Bar Mitzvah, and navigates the complicated social circles of a new school.

The York Theatre Company presents the final of three presentations in the Winter 2017 Musicals in Mufti Series: the 1969 musical Dear World, with book by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee, new version by David Thompson (based on an adaptation by Maurice Valency of the play The Madwoman of Chaillot by Jean Giraudoux), music and lyrics by Jerry Herman, starring 6-time Emmy® Award and Tony® Award-winner Tyne Daly (Gypsy) as Countess Aurelia.

Next up at McCaw Hall is a piece that Seattle Opera General Director Aidan Lang calls the perfect first-time opera experience. Katya Kabanova, the story of a young woman longing to be free from an oppressive small town and her monstrous mother-in-law, is told through music that's as lush and gorgeous as it is highly emotional. 

In a surprising turn of events, NYC politician Genevieve Marcy is stepping out of office and into the throes of the Pop Theatre world that has recently begun to reshape the downtown theatre scene. Marcy, alongside collaborator Zach Donovan (Subtle Pride), tackles the rules of feminine performance in the world premiere of IT'S ALL COMING BACK TO ME NOW at Dixon Place (161A Chrystie St) on March 31st at 10pm.

HANDEL'S MESSIAH, one of the most iconic Baroque works is finally given the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra's exquisitely emotive and expressive treatment under the baton of Artistic Director and Conductor Paul Dyer.

The CHICAGO ONE-MINUTE PLAY FESTIVAL (#1MPF) returns to The Den Theatre for its seventh year - this time exploring America and Chicago in 2017 in the wake of the Presidential election. The marathon evening of one-minute plays by more than 60 of Chicago's established and emerging playwrights and directors is presented two nights only, Today, February 21 and Wednesday, February 22, 2016 at The Den Theatre, 1333 N. E! Entertainment announced a season four pick-up of the hit original scripted drama series THE ROYALS, co-produced by Lionsgate and Universal Cable Productions.

Playwrights Horizons will present the world premiere of THE PROFANE, a new play by Zayd Dohrn (Outside People, Reborning). Directed by Kip Fagan (Grand Concourse at, Exit Strategy, The Revisionist, Asuncion), THE PROFANE will be the fifth production of the theater company's 2016/2017 Season.
