The first ever, full-length Broadway Las Vegas season at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts features eight of Broadway's biggest hits, beginning with the world-wide phenomenon WICKED. Other titles in the season include THE ADDAMS FAMILY, BILLY ELLIOT, WEST SIDE STORY, SHREK THE MUSICAL, Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, ANYTHING GOES and CATCH ME IF YOU CAN. Broadway Las Vegas at The Smith Center will also feature two season specials, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES and Green Day's AMERICAN IDIOT.
The 2012-2013 season features six productions opening with Catch Me If You Can, a splashy new musical inspired by the blockbuster DreamWorks film that recounts the true story of a teenager who runs away from home with nothing more than his boyish charm, a big imagination and millions of dollars in forged checks, October 23 - 28, 2012. Prepare to take flight in an all new production of Peter Pan filled with timeless magical moments and a captivating hook, December 4-9, 2012. Last week, Segerstrom Center for the Arts (formerly the Orange County Performing Arts Center) announced its brand new Broadway Series for the 2012 - 2013 Season. Kennedy International Airport in New York.
