Center Stage's Digital Theater Project MY AMERICA to Screen as Feature Length Film on Fandor, 7/4; Hits IFC Center, 7/9

Center Stage previously announced that its acclaimed digital theater project My America has become a feature length film that will premiere on July 4, 2014, exclusively through streaming service Fandor, followed by a special July 9 screening at the IFC center in New York City.

Graduate students Cason Murphy and Nick Hoenshell are taking on the directorial responsibilities of this year's line-up-Eric Overmyer's On the Verge and Annie Baker's The Aliens-which will run back-to-back for two weekends during starting today, June 19.

Wild with Happy is the joyous new comedy by Tony nominee Colman Domingo that is currently kicking off summer and the end of Season 51 at Center Stage. Now playing through June 29, the production is earning strong reviews from critics and audiences. The Baltimore Sun says the show is "priceless," "dynamic," an "endearing comedy…spiced with sharp humor," while Maryland Theatre Guide calls it "a perfect show."

Sundance Institute announced today the members of the six juries awarding prizes at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival, January 16-26 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah. Short Film Awards will be announced at a ceremony on January 21 at Park City's Jupiter Bowl. Feature film awards will be announced at a separate ceremony on January 25 in Park City, hosted by husband-and-wife duo Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally and livestreamed at www.sundance.org/live. Offerman headlines the film Nick Offerman: American Ham in the Festival's Premieres section. Mullally voices a character in the English-language version of Ernest and Celestine, which will have its world premiere in the Festival's new Sundance Kids section.
