The Performing Garage presents Findlay//Sandsmark's 'fractured bones/let's get lost' in its U.S. premiere tonight, September 5 through September 9, 2012 at 8 p.m.
The Ontological-Hysteric Theater announced today that it will cease operations at the theater space at St. Mark's Church in the Bowery at the end of the 2009-2010 season (June 30, 2010). Since taking up a permanent home at St. Mark's Theater in 1992, the Ontological has presented annual theater works by Richard Foreman, whose trademark 'total theater' unites elements of the performing arts, visual art, philosophy, psychoanalysis, literature and, in recent years, film.
Sources confirm that The Wooster Group is excited to guest curate Performance Space 122's longest-running multi-disciplinary mini-festival and that this spring's Avant-Garde-Arama! will feature artists who the Group calls upon, in their own words, 'sometimes late at night, sometimes when we haven't seen them in a while, sometimes lonely, sometimes drunk, and sometimes we when we've just got nothing better to do.'
