Over the last several years much attention has been drawn to the abduction of children and, in rare cases, their return. A short time ago, the Cleveland area had the spotlight placed on it when three young ladies, Michelle Knight, Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus, were freed after their many years of captivity in the Tremont home of Ariel Castro. This event makes one of the basic tenets of MR. WOLF, now on stage at Cleveland Play House's Outcalt Theatre, quite inciting to local audiences.

As part of the kick-off event for the 2016 Kennedy Center (KC) American College Theater Festival, a special preview of the EVERY 28 HOURS PLAYS will be performed and livestreamed as part of KC's Millennium Stage Series. The preview consists of an excerpt of the collection with more than 30 one-minute plays inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement, with participation by theater makers and institutions across the nation and showcases the creative outcome of a community outreach residency in Ferguson and St. Louis County, Missouri in the fall of 2015.

Boise Contemporary Theater continues its 2016 5X5 Reading Series on Monday, April 4 at 7 pm, with a play called IN VIVO by inaugural BCT River Prize Fellow, Eric Coble. Coble is also the playwright of the final play of the BCT 20th Season, the World Premiere of Margin of Error (Or, The Unassailable Wisdom of the Mouse and the Scorpion), which runs April 13 - May 7.
