The Segal Centre for Performing Arts and BMO Financial Group Will Present RED, Beginning 11/25

The Segal Centre for Performing Arts and BMO Financial Group will present the Montreal premiere of RED by John Logan, a captivating look into the life of iconic Abstract-Expressionist painter Mark Rothko. Directed by Canadian stage legend Martha Henry, this six-time Tony Award-winning play will be presented in the Segal Theatre from November 25th to December 16th, 2012.

The Evening Standard Theatre Awards, established in 1955, are presented annually for outstanding achievements in London Theatre, and this year's nominations longlist has just been announced. Sponsored by the Evening Standard newspaper, this year's shortlist will be announced on November 12 and the winners revealed on November 25.

Hollywood Film Awards to Honor LES MIS' Samantha Barks

Samantha Barks, star of the upcoming film LES MISERABLES, is one of six young actors who will be honored with the 'Hollywood Spotlight Award' at this year's Hollywood Film Awards gala ceremony to be held October 22 at the Beverly Hilton. Barks is set to play Eponine in the film version of Les Miserables - the role she played at the 25th anniversary concert.

Trustus Theatre and the Columbia Museum of Art are bringing Tony-award winning play Red to Columbia. This critically acclaimed and award-winning script by John Logan, will come to life on stage tonight, October 10-14 at the Columbia Museum of Art. The production is part of Trustus' new Off-Off Lady series - producing theatre offsite in non-traditional spaces.
