To deepen our understanding of the most powerful, charismatic and complex Black politician of modern times, Woodie King, Jr.'s New Federal Theatre, in association with Castillo Theatre, will present 'ADAM,' a bio-drama on Adam Clayton Powell, Jr. by Peter DeAnda, from February 9 to March 12 at Castillo Theater, 543 West 42nd Street. 

This Chinese New Year, Hakkasan restaurants around the world will celebrate the Year of the Rooster with a limited edition menu, exclusive cocktail and desserts. All 11 Hakkasan restaurants will continue to honour the Chinese wishing tree tradition inspired by the Lam Tsuen Wishing Trees in Hong Kong. During this auspicious time, guests will be able to share their hopes for the coming year by writing wishes on beautiful red and gold ribbons, and invited to hang them on the iconic Hakkasan lattice cages. The ribbons featuring a bespoke rooster design by London illustrator Kam Tang and limited edition menu will be available to guests from 13th January to 11th February.

And unfortunately, the current Pacific Resident production comes in at over 3 hours, a trying time for a play with such dramatic verbiage that it is necessary to pay full attention throughout since O'Neill's brilliant writing is both incredibly introspective yet often very repetitive. So be sure not to eat a huge meal before attending so the urge to fall asleep does not overtake you.

Cirque du Soleil is excited to bring its magic back to Chicago next summer with its latest soul-touching production, LUZIA. From July 21 to August 20, 2017, audiences will be invited to a redesigned white-and-gold Big Top at the United Center parking lot (1901 W.
